Camp Conrad Chinnock, and our newest partner, You’re Just My Type have designed a special weekend program specifically for young adults ages 18-25 living with Type 1 diabetes. 

Young adults face a unique set of responsibilities as they develop new life skills. These include going away to college, choosing a career, gaining independence, and developing deeper relationships with peers and family. These are all challenges under normal circumstances, but when they are accompanied by Type 1 diabetes, they can be especially overwhelming and isolating. 

Our program will have an exciting schedule of traditional daytime camp activities (ropes courses, swimming, mountain biking, archery, crafts) as well as special guest speakers, mental health topics, and nightly socials complete with midnight karaoke and more!
